What is design to you?
Design, to me, is more than just aesthetics – it’s about creating meaningful experiences. It’s the art of balancing beauty, purpose, and emotion in a space. A well-designed interior doesn’t just look good; it feels right. It tells a story, reflects identity, and enhances the way we live and interact. I believe great design gives a space its soul, it connects people to their environment in a way that’s both inspiring and deeply personal.
Who inspires you in design?
I’m inspired by the way spaces shape our emotions and experiences. Everyday moments, art, architecture, nature, and even conversations often spark ideas. I find beauty in details – textures, light, materials, and how they come together to create atmosphere. Most of all, I’m inspired by people – their stories, needs, and lifestyles. Designing with empathy allows me to create spaces that are not just visually striking, but deeply personal and meaningful.
What would be a dream project to work on?
My dream project would be to recreate and restore classical castles – blending timeless architecture with modern interior design. I’m fascinated by the history, craftsmanship, and stories embedded in these grand spaces. Bringing new life to a castle, while respecting its heritage and adding contemporary functionality, would be a truly rewarding challenge. It’s about creating a space that honours the past but feels relevant and alive for today’s world.
